We’re delighted to announce that the founder of The Hub Danny Leigh has been shortlisted for the 2018 ‘Great British Entrepreneur Awards’ organised by Nat West Bank. Danny is a finalist in the category of Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year.
Danny started The Hub in the spare bedroom of a private house in Bolton with just three members of staff and one passion to succeed. Today after just 2 years the company has grown to a prominent status in the food packaging marketplace thanks to Danny’s business skills and the hard work put in by the Hub team. Pictured above from left to right are Alex Swinnerton, Danny Leigh, Ben McGuinness and Ian Oldfield.
Now in its sixth year, the Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses throughout the UK. Some of the winners have gone on to become household names. One of the judges in Danny’s category is James Caan (CBE) who is best known as a former investor on the BBC television programme Dragons’ Den.
The winners will be announced in November. Watch this space for updates.
